Past Events
This ceremonial rite of passage is created specifically for anyone identifying as or adjacently as a queer man+ (beyond the binary!) Now is the time to take our full place in community, to claim our belonging, and to bring the unique gifts we carry into the world.
Join us in a supportive circle, surrounded by the tallest peaks of Colorado and sleeping beneath a sky full of stars and step into deep relationship with yourself, your community and the earth!
Queer guides have a unique wisdom born of finding and nurturing our authenticity, a wisdom the world is yearning for. These times are calling us into our roles as guides to support people through transitions and deepen into rite of passage ceremonies. More than ever it is time to remember and offer the experience of belonging, to be held, to be seen, and to show up in our collective responsibility.
This 7-day program is open to all who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)—also known as People of the Global Majority. It is a space to rekindle, stoke, and offer devotion to our relationships with the land, the more-than-human world, our ancestors, and ourselves. From this grounding, we can more authentically contribute to our communities, rooted in who we are, our people, and the lands that hold us.

The natural world reminds us that being Queer* is both beautiful and something to be celebrated! Showing up as who we are, and with our many gifts, is a celebration of nature’s diversity and honors our deep connection to the natural world.
As the leaves change, a different way of life is tugging at your heart. A new story is begging to be told. And your gifts are longing to be shared with the world. Join us to savor solo time on the land and to celebate within community.
This training gives the student an immersion in guiding nature-based rite of passage ceremony, including the skills involved in leading the ceremony and an understanding of how the principles can be applied to a profession, community, or client.
Gathering with a supportive group of BIPOC Guides is an opportunity to feel deep connection and belonging with each other and nature. Nature both reflects and celebrates the full spectrum of our intersecting identities. Sharing our stories and receiving mirroring can transform trauma and separation into healing and liberation.

Telling your story is an ancient art. These days, we have mostly forgotten how to listen and how to tell our own story, yet our very survival depends on our ability to communicate by telling and listening to stories. If we cannot tell our story with passion, our life is mute. If we cannot listen like a mirror, we cannot reflect back the wholeness of the story teller.
