During times of change and uncertainty, mentoring can provide support, integration, and growth.

This land of rolling hills is calling you,

as Hummingbirds sing to summer rainbows,

Darkness descends & thunder cracks,

Winter fires hiss & community gathers,

This land is calling, beckoning, waiting…

to welcome you

home again.

Our INTENTION

Wild Mountain is non-profit organization dedicated to community wellness and reciprocity. We are a welcoming and inclusive place where people are invited to connect with the wild places on the land and inside themselves. Our intention is that land based ceremonies are a place of belonging and celebration for Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (QTBIPOC).

Cultivating Reciprocity

Most of our offerings are Contribution-Based.

The more generously you give the more you support the roots of this work, community wellness, and accessibility for those yet to come.

Wild Mountain is land of The Tabeguache Ute People

We honor the Ute people, the original inhabitants of this beautiful land and strive to be in right relations with the land and the indigenous people in this region whose ancestors were forcibly removed from their homeland.

This land reflects resilience and regeneration. May we come to the land with humility and help to heal the damage that has been done to the land, people, and all beings who have lived here and call this place home.

A portion of all funds received by Wild Mountain Retreats is redistributed to Indigenous organizations and mutual aid to assist in the healing of deep wounds left by the injustice of the violent removal of the Ute people from ancestral lands and ongoing injustice faced by native people.

In this moment of chaos and tremendous global change, being here reminded me that everything is always simultaneously coming apart and coming together. And here we are walking together, cooking, carving spoons, chopping wood, stargazing, laughing, crying, storytelling. Thank you for sharing this sacred place with us and so many. The land holds our interwoven story.
